It was good to be a Timberwolves fan back in June of 2017.
The team was on the up and up. Karl Anthony Towns was coming into his own, the same for Andrew Wiggins. And then the team did something super out of character and went out and traded for a bonafide Star in the league in Jimmy Butler.
To get Jimmy they traded away Zach Lavine, Kris Dunn and the number 7 overall pick which turned into Lauri Markkenen. All three of those players have turned out to be pretty good for the Bulls...and now Jimmy Butler wants to be traded just one year into his time in Minnesota.
Great, wonderful, worst case scenario.
Well it gets worse. Now it would appear that with the wounds of Timberwolves fans still open and fresh, Markkenen is taking an opportunity to pour a little salt in that would with a random, out of the blew Throwback Thursday photo showing him getting "drafted by" the Wolves.
He's got to be trolling the whole situation right?
