There was a time last year where Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was the single highest paid player in the NFL. As a good quarterback hitting free agency that's not the toughest thing to do but Kirk did change the game when he negotiated a fully guaranteed 3-year $85 million deal with the Vikings
