Gophers fall to Indiana, Kalsheur Out Indefinitely | #KFANGophers


(Bloomington, IN) -- The Gophers led Indiana at the half, but lost control after the break falling 82-72 to the Hoosiers in Bloomington. Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Marcus Carr each dropped 19 points for Minnesota, which dropped to 13-and-9 with its second straight loss. The Gophers host Illinois on Saturday.

Golden Gophers co-captain Gabe Kalscheur is out indefinitely after suffering a broken hand in Tuesday's practice. Kalscheur has previously never missed a game in his college career, starting in 88 consecutive matchups. The co-captain has averaged nearly nine points in 31 minutes this season.
