NBC aired portions of a second interview with NBA G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan, specifically where he addressed “load management” by today’s NBA players. In his criticism, he was clearly just trying to make himself look more heroic and it did nothing to serve the NBA or help the league prosper.
Doug Gottlieb: “I think the only two winners in (Michael) Jordan saying that last night, and he’s not, obviously not the first, won’t be the last to talk about it; the winners are Jordan himself and NBC because everybody’s playing Jordan’s comments. So, Michael Jordan looks even more heroic as opposed to all the current players because he played 82 games and NBC looks great because like, ‘Hey, we hired Jordan and he said something!’”
