RIP to our friend Louie Anderson

I had the pleasure of first meeting Louie Anderson through my friend Scott Hanson. We did a comedy show with Louie at the Holiday Inn South back in 2004. It was a small room but he worked the crowd like he was in Vegas. After that night we all went to dinner and a friendship began that would last until he passed today. Through out the years Scott would bring Louie to town and we work shows across SE Minnesota. We went to the John Hassler Theatre in Plainview, The Event Center in Rochester and the Eagles Club in Rochester. After every show Louie would take pictures with his fans and sign autographs till the last person left. He was so kind to his fans and the fans absolutely loved him. The upper Midwest comedy scene in the last year has lost 2 GIANT comedians. Scott Hansen and Louie Anderson. I will miss both immensely. Thank you both for all the laughs. Below are some moments in time with these two great comedians.

Here is Louie telling Big Mark Clark about how he got a role with Eddie Murphy in Coming to America.
