Another big storm system set to hit the Twin Cities later this week! 🌧

For those of you who are still recovering from the nearly 10" snow storm that swept through the Twin Cities last week, brace yourself, there's another strong storm system heading for the Twin Cities later this week!

Thankfully, this time around the temps will be warm enough to shift the precipitation to rain but holy smokes is it going to be A LOT of rain!

According to the National Weather Service, the Twin Cities metro area is set to receive up to 2" of rain just one week after getting pummeled by snow last Wednesday & Thursday.

The concern then shifts over to flood areas which are already under water. 2" of rain can cause problems on a normal day but if the ground is not yet fully thawed from winter, it could cause more issues for flood areas throughout the state.
