A weather advisory is already in effect today, here's what you can expect

Snow's coming down pretty good out there and with reports of forecasted snow totals ranging anywhere from 2" to 10" it could look pretty different for each of you out there. Here's what we do know, there is a Winter Weather Advisory active for most of the southern half of the State of Minnesota this morning and according to the National Weather Service that puts us inside a Winter Weather Watch or a for some areas a Winter Weather Warning .

Generally speaking, that means that travel could be dangerous. That's why we're already seeing a bunch of school delays and closings this morning ( click here to see the full list ).

Snow is expected to stick around the Twin Cities area until about 8:00pm this evening with totals ranging from 2"-4" even though I'm already seeing that much accumulated outside my window right now.

Here's a little more about what you can expect for your day today...
