The Vikings are fearing the worst for an injury suffered by rookie corner back Mike Hughes in the second half of Sunday's game at U.S. Bank Stadium.

It was an awkward foot plant as Hughes tangled legs with Larry Fitzgerald across the middle and the left knee buckled awkwardly. Hughes laid down on the field waiting for the training staff and was helped off the field by the crew.

After the game, Mike Zimmer confirmed the team would get an MRI tomorrow and Mike Hughes hobbled through the locker room gingerly aiding his gate with crutches.

Then the report from Tom Pelissero came out.

If the report is indeed true, we'll be getting a larger dose of Mackensie Alexander going forward, and he played okay today.
