Vikings announce plans to host Jaguars for join Training Camp practices

Eagan, Minn. (May 17, 2018) – The Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars have announced the two teams will conduct joint practices prior to the their preseason matchup on Saturday, August 18, at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Both teams, coming off Conference Championship appearances, will practice together on Wednesday, August 15, and Thursday, August 16, at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan, Minnesota. It marks the first time since 2007, when the Vikings hosted the Kansas City Chiefs at Minnesota State University, Mankato, that the team has hosted a joint practice. The practices will be open to the public but will now require fans to reserve tickets in advance on Vikings.com, as will be the case for the entirety of Verizon Vikings Training Camp. 

The 2018 training camp will kick off with rookies reporting on Tuesday, July 24, followed by veterans reporting on Friday, July 27. Camp is expected to be open to the public through the second preseason game, but due to high demand, the Vikings will set a daily attendance capacity and will utilize tickets for the first time. General admission tickets will be free, but fans must reserve tickets in advance on Vikings.com. There will be no access to training camp without a reserved ticket.
