It was a long night for Vikings fans who were waiting all the way to pick number 30 for the Vikings to make their most recent addition to the roster in the NFL Draft. But when it came, it appears as if most of them went home happy.
With the 30th overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft the Vikings took UCF cornerback Mike Hughes.
Hughes is known to be good in press coverage and could fill in for the Vikings right away as a nickel corner. He also brings kick return and punt return ability to the table which helped his case when the pick came.
